Sri Audhikesava Perumal Temple situated in the village of Manapakkam near Chengelpet of Kanchipuram District on the eastern side of the River Palar bank, is more than 400 years old. Maha Samprokshanam of the temple was performed in the year 2007. It is the Avatara Sthalam of Saint “Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan” also known as Kozhiyalam Swamy. Srirangam Srimath Thirukkudantha Andavan Swamigal, Srimushnam Andavan Swamigal have performed Mangalaasaasanam.
The temple premises are short of certain civic amenities for devotees who serve the temple in all weather conditions. It is desired to arrange for a place of stay with functional good sanitation facilities for the devotees. The Madappali (Kitchen) which was damaged in “Vardha” cyclone needs immediate renovation to prepare prasadams to deity regularly and also on Special Pooja occasions. A good beginning has been done by the performance of Bhoomi Pooja on 4th June 2017. The area of civil construction is calculated to be about nearly 1600 sq. feet. The cost of the activities is estimated around ₹14 Lakhs to ₹ 15 Lakhs.

தொண்டை மண்டலம் வரலாற்று சிறப்புமிக்க திருக்கோயில்களைக் தன்னகத்தே கொண்டு நிற்கின்றது. அவற்றுள், காஞ்சீபுரம் மாவட்டம் மிகவும் சிறப்புள்ளதாக திகழ்ந்து வருகின்றது. இக்காஞ்சீபுர மாவட்டத்தில், செங்கல் பட்டு அருகே, பாலாற்றின் கிழக்குக் கரையில் மணப்பாக்கம் என்ற கிராமத்தில் பழமை வாய்ந்த ஸ்ரீ ஆதிகேசவப்பெருமாள் என்ற திருக்கோயில் அமைந்திருக்கிறது.
வேதங்களும் சாஸ்த்ரங்களும் “கேசவனை” உயர்ந்தவனாக உத்கோஷிக்கின்றன. “ஸுகந்தபுரம்” அல்லது “மணப்பாக்கம்” என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டு வரும் இந்த திவ்யதேசத்தில் சுமார் 400 ஆண்டுகளாக ஸ்ரீ பூமி நீளா ஸமேதராய் ஸ்ரீ ஆதிகேசவப்பெருமாள், அபய வரத முத்திரைகளுடன்எழுந்தருளி, பக்தர்களை ரக்ஷித்து வருகிறார்.
இக்கிராமத்தில் கோயில் கொண்டிருக்கும் ஸ்ரீ கன்னியம்மன் கோயிலில் பிரஸித்தியாக வீற்றிருக்கும் ஸப்த கன்னிகைகள் , கேசவப் பெருமாளைப் போற்றி வணங்கியதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது. மேலும் இந்த க்ஷேத்திரம் “கன்னிகோயில் மணப்பாக்கம்” என்றும் பிரஸித்தி பெற்றுள்ளது.
